Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: (Isaiah 40:4, KJV)
I did my National Youth Service programme in one of the Eastern States in Nigeria and during that time I visited a community that had a mountain so my friends and I thought it would be fun to climb up the mountain. One faithful Saturday we had the opportunity to so, and we climb to the very top.
In that community was a very magnificent edifice owned by the owner of a very popular transport company in the country.The building was so magnificent and was built along the road so it always caught the attention of those passing by.
One faithful day my friends and I went climbing, as we continued towards the top my attention was suddenly drawn towards that building, and I realized that the higher we climbed the smaller this magnificent building became and by the time we got to the very top of the mountain, that magnificent edifice that always captured our attention from the ground had become almost invisible from the top of the mountain.
Dear friend, that is exactly how challenges are.
They may look very big when we confront them from our own level, but if we look at them through God’s eyes, we would see that they’re very insignificant, hence, the need for us to continue abiding in His presence because with Him nothing is too hard or impossible.
Today God is saying to you and I that He will make every mountain and hill low, the crooked way will be made straight and the rough road shall be made plain for our sake.
So no matter how big the challenges of life are, God has promised to handle them for us and He will if we let Him.
You see, God does not speak just to please us, He speaks to truly effect a change in our lives and today, that change has come for you, in Jesus Name!
I decree by the authority of heaven, everything that has proven difficult in your life becomes a testimony for you today in Jesus Name!
