Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? (Isaiah 49:24, KJV)
Captives as we know do not have any right of their own. It is what their captors says to do that they do, should they violate the orders, they would face rigorous punishments.
Just this Saturday, I met a man who told me about a colleague who has paid several hundred thousand naira to fraudsters because he wants to be rich. And when they told him he’s been defrauded, he tagged them to be his enemy of progress. And as we speak, he is still paying; lawful captive.
I also met two very young, vibrant boys who are known cultists, I told them about Christ and the consequences of cultism. One felt remorseful but the other said with confidence that he has a prophet who foresees the future for him, that before any rival group will get him, he would have known; lawful captive.
One cannot sell his soul to the devil and expect anything good in return. Once the devil finishes with his captives, except they repent and run to God, he finishes them.
Your life is a great gift from God and He does not want you to waste it. What are you addicted to or what is it that you want Him to liberate you from? He is always willing and able; only if you RUN TO HIM!
Decide now and be made whole!
