Robert Marchand was born on 26 November, 1911 in france. As a child he was interested in cycling. He won his first cycling race at the age of 14. In search of success, he travelled out of france and engaged in several jobs. He was a fire fighter, a shoe and wine seller and a market gardner. He even competed in armateur boxing! All these activities neither brought him fame nor success! In 1978, at the age of 66, Robert Marland took a huge step towards success; he decided to go back to what he loved doing! He bought his first bicycle and started cycling again! It must have been difficult for him but he persisted! On 2nd february, 2012, at age 100years, he became famous and wrote his name in the history books when he cycled 24km in one hour. He created the world cycling record for his age! Yesterday, 31st january, 2014, at the age of 102, Robert broke his 2year old record, setting a new world record!
MORAL: You are TOO YOUNG to quit!!!!! Don’t ever let anyone tell you “your mates” have achieved this and that! Your life’s race is for you and you alone!

In this New Month of February and for the rest of your life, decide not to allow other people’s opinion about you count. If God has not Given up on you, why give up on yourself?
God made you uniquely you and you are not in any race with anyone. Besides, what others think about you counts less to what you think about yourself!
Be positive and trust God absolutely.
