WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, KJV)

The eagle is as a symbol of bravery, strength and pride.

It also represents determination and courage. And most importantly is it’s resilience.

The eagle is the only bird that dares heights that other birds cannot attempt and when storm comes, the eagle uses it to reach unimaginable heights and then begins to soar in it effortlessly.

The bible passage above uses the eagle as an illustration for God’s children.

As much as God knows that the storms of life will come as the bible says in John 16:33, God expects us to ride on those storms to where He wants to take us because like the eagle the storms of life is to take us to that height that we would naturally not dare.

God expects His children to be fearless, tenacious and fly even higher in the face of the storm.

For those who would dare to wait on the Lord and to trust Him absolutely in this month of March, the Spirit of the Lord is saying that they will soar above the storms of life.

So permit me to welcome you to March, the month that you will mount up “WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES!”
