WHOLENESS OF VISION!

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (Genesis 13:15, KJV)

The story was told of a 15years old girl who bore a child out of wedlock and gave the child out for adoption in the 1920’s.

After her death in January 1955, her husband to whom she later got married in October, 1937 took it upon himself to go in search of the child of his late wife who he later discovered to have married a physician and herself a nurse and had three children.

Before his death, the step dad wrote of the joy of being called a father, because he did not have a child with his late wife.

If it were in our world today, the 15 years old girl would most likely have been advised to get an abortion and of course, she probably would have died childless and her child would not have become a nurse, married a physician and have her own children.

The above story of the 15 years old girl is a classical example of our walk on earth. Sometimes we are confronted with challenges that requires very serious decision making, just like the 15 years old girl, and all we really need to do is to critically analyze the situation and this process is what I call the “WHOLENESS OF VISION”.

Wholeness of vision requires that we look beyond the present challenging situation, concerns, crisis and difficulties into future possibilities and the implications that could arise by a single wrong decision.

It is doing this that we can truly lay hold of the endless possibilities that the future holds.

In Genesis 13 verse 14, God needed Abram (Abraham) to lift up his eyes and look, whatever his eyes could see was what God promised him in verse 15.

God actually wanted Abram (Abraham) to see beyond his current situation into a future that was colourful and bright, and that is exactly what the Spirit of God is saying to you today: SEE A BRIGHT FUTURE!

Your present situation may look like there is no hope for you. Men may have failed and abandoned you, or maybe you lack the financial well withal, God is saying: HAVE A WHOLENESS OF VISION!

See beyond today’s limitations into a world of endless possibilities because your tomorrow will be alright.

Things may not be going as planned today but what do you see happening tomorrow?

Until you begin to see beyond today’s limitations, your hands may not take hold of the blessings of tomorrow.

May the Lord release the grace that you need to hold on, in Jesus Name.

Prayer Point:

Father, please give me the grace and ability to see beyond today’s challenges, into the blessed future that you have prepared for me, in Jesus Mighty Name.

YOU ARE BLESSED!!!
