I once heard my father, Pastor Tony Okpobrisi, say that the Holy Spirit is our CHASSIS. Truth be told I was confused for a minute, but then he went on to explain and it became clearer.
You see, the chassis of every vehicle plays very important roles in the vehicles because they support the engines, transmission loads as well as other components and passengers weight; they bear the general car weight from underneath.
They are vehicle’s support system.
In other words, most vehicles would be almost useless without their chassis.
As believers, God has not left us helpless, so He gave us His own support system that helps believers weather through the storms of life and journey smoothly in our christian race and He is none other that the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit plays major roles in the lives of believers because He is our support system; He is our CHASSIS and without Him our walk of salvation will be useless and meaningless.
As our CHASSIS, the Holy Spirit is our:
COMFORTER – John 16:7
HELPER – Romans 8:26
ADVOCATE – John 14:26
STRENGTH- Ephesians 3:16
SEAL – Ephesians 1:13
INTERCESSOR – Romans 8:27
SANCTIFIER – 1 Corinthians 6:11
So whenever the challenges of life comes, be rest assured that you have a sure support system; our CHASSIS that never fails.
I pray for you, beloved, may the marvellous help of the the Holy Spirit continue to abide with you always, in Jesus Precious Name!
