In blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. (Genesis 22:17, KJV)
You will discover that after God made the above declaration they did not manifest immediately, but it still took some time for it to come to pass.
Sometimes life does not give us what we expect, not really because we do not deserve it nor is it that we did not work hard for it, but God just decides to hold it them back because that is not His plan for us. Sometimes our “so called” best is not good enough for us, so God withholds them and plans a bigger and better package for us and the period that seems like a delay could just be God’s way of preparing us to be able to control the blessings when they come so we will not be carried away by the overwhelming joy that follows it.
Paint a picture of someone who has never handled #50,000 of his own and someone gives him #200,000. You can be sure that the fellow will almost faint because he will be overwhelmed. But if within a period he is groomed and tutored, of course when the money comes he would be happy but would handle it.
So is our case, that waiting period is God’s way of grooming His own to handle His blessings when they come.
I do not know what you are going through right now, but I am very sure that if God has brought you this far, then there is no way He will abandon you now.
Abraham waited and today we are all products of that promise. Hold on and in due time God will bless you and multiply your seed in Jesus name! Amen.
It is well with you!
