To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1, KJV)
There was this lecturer back in my university days who would always humorously tell us how he and his friends usually hang out at joints, had pepper soup and other stuff, and whenever he is done with his gist would always say “wait for your time.” One thing most students found funny back then was the way and manner he always applied his usual phrase “wait for your time.” Though it was funny to us back then, it was the truth, because today his students have become independent with a lot of us doing well in our careers, businesses, ministry, marriage and the pursuit of even higher academic qualification, because it was time.
Life’s time table for Mr A does not often apply to Mr B, but in most cases Mr B forgets this and tries to compare himself with Mr A, not knowing that God is working out a bigger and better thing for him.
There is an adage that says when a new thing is born the old one becomes old school because a new thing has come.
I do not know what you want in life or what you have been earnestly trusting God for but you see others getting same with almost no effort compared to what you have put in, but have you considered the fact that maybe you are not getting it because God has a bigger and better plan for you, if only you will wait for your time? James 1:2-4.
I pray for God’s grace for patience upon your life even as you wait for your time, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
It is well with you!
