And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? (Luke 24:5, KJV)
It is very important to know that Jesus Christ was not killed, neither was He constrained to die, but He willingly laid down His life; John 10:18.
The mystery behind the death of Christ is such that He laid His own life for us so that He might take our place in death. He trade our place with His and restored us to our original state, hence, when you accept Jesus, you are restored to the original glory of God’s plan for mankind.
It is also true to state that without the resurrection, the true essence of the Christian race would have had no value because there are other spiritual heads that lived and died, but only one laid down His life even unto death and took it again after three days in resurrection, defiling the power of death. Is that not glorious?
The third day of resurrection which is celebrated as Easter does not only mark the end of dryness and death in any area of your life, it also means restoration and divine upliftment into a new and higher level of glory in God through Jesus Christ.
I pray, may the same level of glory in the life Christ on the day of resurrection, even unto the end of time, be your portion today and always.
