THE OFFER TO HELP

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18, KJV)

By creation, God made man head over everything He created but in the midst of it all the man Adam could not see the glorious things that God had prepared ahead of Him that is why he gave himself to sin and became cut off from God, and that sin made God to hide His face from us that He would not hear us when we call.

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:1-2, KJV)

But because He is a good God and knowing that His original purpose for creating man was for fellowship, and not wanting man to perish because if left to himself; the path of error and sin, would lead him to eternal damnation, so he had to extend His Hand of mercy to us by offering His Son, Jesus Christ, as the sacrifice of redemption in order to restore our lost glory.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all…” (Romans 8:32, KJV)

God knows that sin will kill because the wages of sin is death, Romans 6:23, so He stretched out His Hands of help, friendship and deliverance towards us.

In these times when wickedness, lewdity and immorality are becoming widespread and generally accepted as the norm, man who is the offender who should accept God’s help, are the ones wanting to dictate the term because we feel we have come to understand righteousness more than the righteous God. No wonder in Acts chapter 10 verse 4, Peter was given a clear instruction but felt he was more holy than the holy God.

“But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

The path of salvation requires man to accept responsibility for his mistakes amd ask the Lord for His mercy, but man would rather make excuses.

When God says we are to present our bodies holy and acceptable, some would by their actions say that God does not know anything, that it is fashionable to show off those things which are meant to be private, and also do so many other crazy things in the name of fashion.

Beloved, God is saying to you and I today to turn away from sin and accept His offer of help because He wants to help us. But the question is, will you accept Him?

Why struggle with sin when the Lord has offered the price for your redemption?

Dear friend, the offer of salvation is still open and all you need to do is to accept His help.

Prayer Point: Father, I surrender myself to You, and in humble submission, I receive Your offer of help for my redemption through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, in Jesus Precious Name!

You are blessed!
