THE GREATEST GIFT!

The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: (Isaiah 14:24, KJV)

It is a fact that we know that when God speaks, it is not only a command but an absolute authority. That’s why the Word of God says in Psalms 33:8-9;

Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

God’s Word is backed by power so when He speaks, His Word turns everything around. This is so because when God speaks, the devil and his cohort have no option but obey!

Today’s reading says that God Himself have sworn that “surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass.”

The question now is, what has God thought that He has sworn by?

Jeremiah 29:11 says;

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

The above passage says God has good thoughts towards us and never evil that is why He gave up His Son Jesus Christ for mankind which is why we celebrate Him this season. This also raise the question; what is His thought towards us?

3 John 2 says;

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Note from the above passage that God wants us to prosper and be healthy but not independently of our souls prosperity and our souls can only prosper when we rightly position!

What this simply means is that in this season of OVERFLOWING blessings and festivity, God is willing to pour out more of His Spirit upon us but wants us to have an allegiance with Him. To receive and to enjoy that which God sworn to do for us this season, you need Jesus!

Accept Jesus into your life today for He alone is the GREATEST GIFT for you this season, and you will be glad you did.

It is well with you!
