THE GREAT RELEASE – 6!

And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. (Mark 11:7, KJV)

Remember the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32? The young man strayed but when he realized his mistakes and came back to his father, rather than cast him away the father asked in verse 22 that the best robe be put on him, and a ring on his finger. So was the colt when he was brought to Christ. The passage says they cast their robes on him and Christ sat on him, which means not only was he blessed, Jesus became the Lord of his life.

Linking both passages, you will discover that when one returns to the Master, Jesus Christ, one would be properly decorated that is why the book of Job 22:21-26 admonishes us to return to Jesus.

Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ without affording sinners the opportunity of giving their lives to Christ, or conducting a deliverance without walking the delivered through the process of retaining his deliverance would only lead to futility as the sinner will soon go back to his vomit and the delivered will soon be repossessed with even more wicked spirits as written in Matthew 12:43-45.

The passage says they brought the colt to Christ which means giving sinners and captives the opportunity to come to Christ after they have been set free in other for Christ to rule over the affairs of their lives.

Having Jesus as the one that runs the affairs of your life is the best of privilege you can ever enjoy and it is indeed a very wonderful opportunity to have Jesus Christ in your life.

So if you are not born again, why not decide to surrender Him NOW? And as you do, it can only get better for you, because your glorious destiny is assured!

I declare the peace of God that passes all human understanding over your life, in Jesus Precious Name!

It is well with you!
