THE GREAT RELEASE – 4!

And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? (Mark 11:5, KJV)

A few days ago I was discussing with some of my loved ones on certain issues that has lingered for some time now and seem to have become a great burden in their hearts which does not seem to have any solution. Though I have been encouraging them on phone until I decided to go and pay them a visit. After they had narrated the whole situation, I said: “I have always told you this issue will be resolved, (and indeed it will), but we need to wait in the place of prayer” and his response was; are you trying to say a witch is involved? He honestly expressed himself on his “philosophy” and his not believing in witches, and if they do exist, can not harm anyone spiritually.

Yesterday, a dear friend shared the story of his own friend who died some years ago. He said his late friend was the only graduate her entire family had ever produced, and the witches in her family had to silence her. And to prevent her father from training anyone else, had a car accident and his legs were cut off.

The above are real life stories.

Is it not amazing according to our reading that the colt on which no one has ever sat was tired and left to rot and when those who knew his value came for him, were contended with?

May I add here that the colt according to the passage is a “MAN!” A human being and not a donkey. Read the above chapter from verse 2 to 4, you will discover that the colt was referred to as “HIM”

An African proverb says; it is lawful for a slave to escape and it is also lawful for the slave driver to run after it. I have always said the devil does not fold his hands and allow his captives go, which is the case here.

There were those (demons), that stood there to ensue the colt is not released, even though they did not need him for anything, they just wanted to ensure it remained useless. See what they asked;

“What do ye, loosing the colt?” Meaning “what! Who gave you the right to loose him?”

Because he could be a lawful captive.

I do not know how long you have been where you are or whoever is responsible for your stagnation, what I do know is, the One; Jesus Christ, who gave the order for the release of the colt will set you free today!

As we go through this series together, not only do I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, but that you receive your great release from the Master, Jesus Christ and that you go in peace and serve Him.

It is well with you!
