To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiates 3:1, KJV)
The word appointed is derived from the word appointment. While the word appointed means to have been decided on beforehand, usually of a time and place. An appointment means an arrangement to meet someone at a particular time and place.
Time is a measure in which events can be ordered from the past through the present into the future, and also the measure of durations of events and the intervals between them.
Looking at the definitions above, it is very evident that God planned for us to have an appointment with Him, even before the creation of the earth, but before the day of appointment, like Esther, we are expected to be groomed so as not to mess up on the day of our appointment.
In Job 14:14, God’s Word says: If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
What the above mean is simple; there is a waiting period to everything in life, but this does not mean waiting in waste, it means trusting God with action. The sure proof that we are waiting on God is when we act in accordance to what we expect from God.
Paraphrasing Habakkuk 2:2-3, it says don’t only write down your vision, let it be visible that you are indeed working towards it and whoever sees you working would run with your vision. You can not get anyone to run with a vision you don’t believe in.
Some people see their waiting season as a wasting season and thus become dejected, but indeed, our waiting seasons are building seasons; James 1:2-4
I see God rebuilding your broken and cracked walls in other to restore your stolen and lost glory today. But remember, there is an appointed time.
Keep working at it, your appointed time will come and you will surely conquer, in Jesus Precious Name!
It is well with you!
