TAKE UP YOUR ROD!

And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs. (Exodus 4:17, KJV)

God does not work in a vacuum that is why He needs our hands to heal the sick and raise the dead. Not just our hands but the totality of our being. We cannot heal the sick or do miracles by our own power and might, we need a rod to do so, that is why the Lord asked Moses what he had in his hand and Moses said a rod, and God spoke to him saying that with the rod he would do signs.

Today we have a Rod! Not just a rod, a rod that is mightier than the rod of Moses, and indeed all other rods.

Isaiah 11:1 says;

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots”

That is why Samuel could not find a King in anyone else but in David; 1 Samuel 16:10-12. For it was through him our Rod was to emerge and with this Rod; Jesus Christ, we will do greater signs; John 14:12.

These days people die of diseases and sickness because they do not recognise the power they possess. The word of God says no name is higher than His name; Philippians 2:9-11. That is our Rod!

Sicknesses, diseases, challenges, obstacles, barriers, limitations, aches and pains bow to the Rod!

What challenge are you facing today? Take up the Rod and signs shall follow!
