TAKE IT BY FORCE!

images (3)

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12, KJV)

There is the account of a “certain woman” as the Bible calls her, in Mark chapter 7 from verse 24 through to verse 30 This woman had a daughter who was tormented by evil spirit so she came to the Master to seek help but Jesus told her in verse 27 that the children has to first be filled because it is not proper to give what belongs to children to dogs. And in verse 28 she agreed and said even dogs have their share from the children’s crumbs.

What the woman meant by her action in the passage above was simple. She was saying “no problem! Whether I am a dog or not doesn’t matter so long as my daughter is healed!” And Jesus testifying about the woman, said in Matthew 15:28 that she had a great faith.

Sometimes I marvel at the rate at which some people run from pillar to post in search of miracles when the same miracle has been provided by salvation. And some other times, I wonder what would have become of the church today if our spiritual fathers, the likes of Daddy G.O, Bishop Oyedepo, Papa Kumuyi, etc, were running about in search of miracles instead of building themselves in the Lord in their secret places.

In Mark chapter 2, when Jesus entered into Capernaum, the people heard and thronged the building were He was. Verse 4 recorded the account of a man who was sick of palsy, whose friends would not use the crowd as an excuse to let their friend remain paralysed, so they tore off the roof and lowered him to Jesus from there and alas! He was healed!

There is yet another woman in Mark 5:28 who had suffered for twelve years because her blood won’t dry up. None of the physicians she had visited could help her but so long as Jesus was in town, she would not accept defeat so she pressed through the crowd to take her healing by force. And indeed she got it.

The Bible says in Hebrews 13 verse 8:

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The same Jesus that was alive to heal blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52 is alive to heal every form of sickness, disease, aches and pains today. However, you need to have faith because faith is the underlying factor to receiving from God.

James 1:7 says let no man expect to receive anything from God without faith and Hebrews 11:6 says we cannot even please God without faith so instead of running helter-skelter, settle down with God and refuse to take no for an answer.

1 Corinthians 16 verse 9 says:

For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

And our reading says only the violent will take their possession by force.

Until you learn how to misbehave in the Lord, the devil will not behave.”

To misbehave in this context means to REFUSE TO ACCEPT DEFEAT and to take your healing, deliverance and breakthrough by force!

What battle are you fighting?

I pray, in the Name that is above every other names, receive YOUR VICTORY by force, in the Name of Jesus!

You are walking free today, in Jesus Name!

It is well with you!
