SHOWING FORTH THE GLORY OF GOD!

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. (1 Corinthians 15:41, KJV)

In geography we were taught that the moon does not have any light of its own, all that it does is to align itself at a certain angle with the sun and then it reflects a beautiful light.

Even though the moon does not have a light of it’s own, when it glows at night nobody says it is the light of the sun, instead we all appreciate it’s beauty, that is why we call it “MOON LIGHT.”

The moon uses the light of the sun to shine, but has it’s own glory.

If they were to trade places so that the sun can shine at night and the moon by day, you will see that things will not align because the moon cannot take the place of the sun, and vice versa.

So also it is with humans. We all have different purposes, destinies and glory, that is why no two people can achieve same level of success or fulfill their purposes at the same time.

Even identical twins have different likes, wants an needs, and a lot of the time, desires to follow different paths in life.

Even the stars in the sky. They may all look alike, but they have different levels of glory, just as scripture stated.

In the same vain, I have seen people with the same level of education, qualifications and levels of exposure, yet addressed differently because they have different levels of glory!

No two mortals have the same level of glory and only God in His infinite capacity as God have the ability to change the destiny and glory of any man. And a classical example of this is the account of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10:

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

No wonder 2 Corinthians 3:18 says:

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Beloved, even though the glory of one man differs from the other, we cannot deny that there are certain forces in contention with the destinies of men, that is why Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 16:9:

For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

The Bible speaking about God in Job 9:7 says:

Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

God has the ability to change the destiny of any man, no matter what it is that has kept his glory from shining, or where they come from, that is why He is called the Lord God Almighty.

He has the ability to stop the sun and stars from shining and He will cause your glory to break forth, in the Name of Jesus!

Someone may be saying “it’s not me. My own star is shinning.” That may be true but it could also be that you should have gone beyond your present position because there is always room at the top!

I do not know what has been done or undone in your life, but I decree, may your glory begin to emerge from today, in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Whatever has been a barrier to your shinning is lifted today, in Jesus Name!

You are breaking forth from obscurity to limelight, in Jesus Name!

You were created to show forth the glory of God, and that, you will fulfill, in Jesus Precious Name. Amen!
