The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. (Proverbs 10:22, KJV)
I have heard quite a number of people say; “why will such thing happen to me when I pay my tithe?!”
Today, a lot of people shout and attack God in prayers asking Him why they have to suffer some challenges because they tithe.
Some say when prayer and fasting fails, engage the power of praise because God dwells in the praises of His people; Psalms 22:3.
True! But the question now is; what if prayer and fasting fails and praises also fails, what then becomes my lot?
The fact remains that tithing, prayer, fasting and praise singing can never and will never take the place of obedience to God. You can sing, praise, fast and pray all you care, but without obedience to God, you’re going nowhere!
Deuteronomy 28:1;
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.
Notice from the above scripture that there is a clause; if! So we have the choice of not hearkening to the voice of God.
Joshua 1:8 says;
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
We MUST OBSERVE TO DO according to ALL that is written therein!
Cain and Abel offered but one was rejected because no amount of offering can replace a sincere sacrifice of obedience.
The surest way of provoking God’s blessings is to be totally obedient to His will. And the consequences of disobedience is found in Deuteronomy 28:15 to the end.
No amount of tithing or books on the laws of success can replace obedience; Job 22:21-23.
Now that you know the best way to provoke God’s blessings, what will you do?
It is well with you!
