"They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” (Psalms 34:5, KJV)
Shame is the painful feeling that arises from the consciousness of something dishonourable and it’s opposite is glory, honour and admiration.
Proverbs chapter 3 verse 35 tells us that while the wise shall inherit glory, shame on the other hand is the reward for foolishness.
Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:22 said:
“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”
And Hebrews 12:2 enjoins us to look up to Jesus who is the “Author and Finisher” of our faith.
I pray for you today, child of God, as you fix your gaze on Jesus Christ, you will not know shame, in Jesus Name!
Whatever is trying to cover your glory in order to cause you shame will be disgraced, in Jesus Name!
Shame brings dishonour but glory brings honour and admiration. From today, you are only permitted to be honoured and admired, in Jesus Name!
As God lives, your glory will never be hidden because you’re going from glory to glory, in Jesus Name!
No more sorrow, shame and setback is permitted in your life, in Jesus Precious Name!
You are blessed!
