Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. (Isaiah 61:7, NIV)
Shame is a painful feeling of humiliation and disgrace is the loss of reputation or respect. While they both produce unpleasant feelings and lack of fulfilment, their opposite on the other hand are glory and honor, which are God’s desire for everyone that loves Him.
Proverbs 3:35 says that the wise shall inherit glory, and to be wise means to know what to do and going ahead to do it. Therefore, I pray for you, the grace to play your part in God’s agenda for your life, receive it now, in Jesus Name!
Child of God, for your shame God is giving you a double portion of glory, in Jesus Name!
For every disgrace that you have suffered, be divinely decorated with honour, in Jesus Name!
I pray for you, receive a double portion of whatever you have lost to shame and disgrace, in Jesus Name!
You will not miss your inheritance in Christ, in Jesus Name!
May your joy be full and may only the best in the land be your portion, in Jesus Precious Name!
