POWER IN THE SPOKEN WORD!

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21, KJV)

When growing up as a child and even now, it was nothing new to see people insult themselves. Some even jokingly call whoever they played with goats, craze, mad and so on. Some parents were not left out in the verbal abuse of their children, as some of them when offended at the child even place curses on them. I’ve heard people say to their children; oni se ori re / ko ni da fun e – that the child will never do well and that it will not be well with the child. And when the child grows up to be a nonentity, same parent cry and say a demon or a witch is disturbing the child.

The devil and demons understands the power of the spoken word and they do not joke with our words. As a matter of fact, they observe the things we say to use them against us.

The bible says in Genesis 1 that the world was without form and void, and verse 3 says;

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.; “power of the spoken word!”

And when God was to deliver the children of Israel from bondage, He spoke His Word; Psalm 107:20.

This morning, the same Word has come to you.

Numbers 14:28 says to speak and God will hear us;

Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

I prophesy; your days of struggles and pains are over! Your mockers and those who laughed at you will come and celebrate you! This season, you will walk into blessings and you will never know sorrow again, in Jesus mighty name!

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23, KJV)

If you believe, all these and much more shall be yours in Jesus name!

It is well with you!
