Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 2, KJV)
God’s agenda for mankind is not limited to His redemption plan, it also includes His divine prosperity plan. But to do this, He needs man’s full cooperation.
Yes He said “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. – Jeremiah 29:11. Verse 13 says: And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
We must play our part in His plan by seeking Him with ALL OUR HEART.
How do we do that?
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might… this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat… And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily… Ecclesiastes 9:10, 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says, Colossians 3:23.
So it is not only about finding what to do, but doing what you have found diligently.
Looking closely at Joshua 1:8, we will realise that God’s prosperity plan is not a gift or a wish but a covenant and until your part is played, God is not committed perform.
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
We must realise that it is a command that God’s Word requires a constant meditation. And then we must be obedient (diligent) in doing “ALL” it says; John 2:5. And interestingly, it says it is your responsibility to make your way prosperous and to have good success, that talks about the place of diligence: Colossians 3:23.
When God sees your diligence in what you have found to do, He then releases His blessings upon you; Proverbs 10:22, which in turn culminates into what is called “BREAKTHROUGH.
As you partner with the Lord by diligently doing that which you have found to do, I see you breaking forth on all sides, in Jesus Name!
