NEVER REMAIN THERE!

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. (Proverbs 24:16, KJV)

Many a times we go through trials and temptation and some times we stumble and fall. Even though it is not the will of God for man to fall into sin, it is His greatest desire that we rise up when we fall. And many times when we fall, the devil who is the accuser of brethren comes to remind us that we are sinners and that God cannot hear us.

True, the bible says the prayer of a sinner is an abomination unto God, but that is the prayer of an unrepentant sinner. We were all born sinners and if God does not hear a sinner when he prays then be sure we would all be heading for hell, but this is not so. Christ came as the ultimate measure of God for man’s redemption, so when we pray in the name of Jesus, sincerely asking for forgiveness then we can be sure God will hear you.

Satan the devil causes man to fall and then cause him to run away from God rather than run to God, and God’s greatest desire for us is to run to Him for help so He can save us, and not for us to run away from Him to the one we really should run away from.

The Word of God says in Revelation 2:5:

Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

So it is vital for us to take a stand for Christ rather than wallow in sin.

In this season of Christmas when we commemorate the birth of the Saviour and deliverer of the world, rather than groan in misery, choose the help of the Saviour.

Where have you fallen? GET UP! Do not remain there, run to God and He will deliver you!

It is well with you!
