LIVING IN LIES!

And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. (Matthew 25:15, KJV)

The above reading gives us a classical example of what we see around us today. God has deposited in every one of us the innate resources and ability needed to live a fulfilled life and to achieve whatsoever goal we set to achieve but a lot of people still waste away, making excuses with the government’s inability to provide a job for them, or lay blames on friends and relatives who they perceive can help and has not, hence, decide to do nothing but live in the lies that there is no help that’s why they are where they are.

According to our reading, the master gave each one according to his own ability. Which means wherever we are today is dependent on what effort we have committed to that which God has given us, and God cannot give us more than we can handle. Recently I stumbled on a lady friend whom I had not seen in a while. Upon enquiry, I discovered she had left her catering business that was not thriving for commercial bus driving from which she now has 3 buses and is doing very well for herself, yet I know people who still live in the lies of yesterday, yet want to succeed by doing nothing. Ecclesiates 9:10 says:

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…”

If you invest nothing in nothing, you will get nothing.

So many individuals are potential employers but have refused to see beyond the stepping stones of today called work.

In the words of Pastor Sam Adeyemi; “no excuse is good enough for failure.”

So instead of living in the lies of there is no work or money to start off, start something out of nothing because opportunity is hidden in a dress called work.
