LET GOD BE TRUE!

God forbid! Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar. As it is written: “That Thou mightest be justified in Thy sayings, and mightest overcome when Thou art judged. ” (Romans 3:3, KJV)

The above scripture passage is one that clearly exposes the true nature of man. Man by nature is insatiable, but as believers in Christ, the Word of God admonishes us to be grateful to God for all that we have and for all that He has done for us, but man, wanting to have more than he really needs, is quick to forget all God has done and thus question God on His faithfulness for what He is yet to do.

It is true that God does not give us some of the things we ask for because they are not His will for us. He knows quite well that those things are most likely going to destroy us or make us forget Him. Sometimes He gives them to us to prove His faithfulness to us and truly, man turns around and forget God.

I know a few persons who have cried like no man’s business and prayed to God for breakthrough like they would die if their prayers were not answered. But what happens? They soon forget their promises and turn against God when their prayers are answered and then you do not see them again in church; they become bigger than the one who blesses.

Man’s impatience is another form of atheism; aa unbelief. It also says God is a liar.

If we truly believe in Him, then we should also trust His timing. That is why Romans 3 verse 3 says;

“For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?”

And verse 4 says GOD FORBID!

What is it you are trusting God for? I say to you, trust in His timing also because He knows the best time to bless you. And as you wait for His blessings, thank Him in advance.

It is well with you!
