For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. (Psalms 5:12, KJV)
The word favour means getting what is beyond what is due you or a preference for one above others.
The passage also suggests that the blessings of God is not meant for all. It says God will only bless the righteous. So if you are not one of His, you cannot have access to His blessings, but the uniqueness of it all is that He has made provision for you by Jesus to come to Him.
So if you’re not born again, you need Jesus today. And if by chance you were one of His but have wandered away, you need to rededicate your life to Him and as you do be sure He will forgive you.
Please say this prayer with me:
Lord Jesus, I come to you today, acknowledging the truth that you are my Lord and Saviour. Therefore I confess my sins and accept you into my heart as the Lord of my life. Wash me with your blood and make me whole.
Thank you Jesus for loving me. Thank you Jesus for forgiving me. And thanking you Jesus for saving me, in Jesus Precious Name. Amen.
This month of June will be the month of months for you. Much more than you deserve will you get from our heavenly Father. Therefore, welcome to your season of change and this change is for you, in Jesus Name!
