He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalms 107:20, KJV)
In the book of Matthew 15:21 – 28, we read the account of a Canaan woman that understood the principles of the spoken word, hence she would not allow the Master be until He spoke a Word into her life.
Today’s reading says the Word has the power to deliver, and Jesus Christ is the spoken Word of God that became manifest in flesh.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
There is power in the spoken Word that is why we need to be mindful of the things we say to ourselves and indeed to others; Proverbs 18:21.
Do you know that even the enemies understand the power of the spoken word? That is why you see satanic agents go about at night to make pronouncements against supposed enemies when they are asleep.
I do not know what negative pronouncements have been made concerning your destiny, but I know there is a Word that sets the captives free, heal and delivers totally. May that Word touch you today, in Jesus name!
