“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9, KJV)
I once met a man who said he was an Evangelist. During our conversation he told me he had long left Ministry and had only attended church service about 3 times in a whole year. He then went on to complain about every single thing.
What he didn’t realize was that I was actually going through a similar situation at that time but rather than letting them push me away from God, they drew me even closer to Him.Dear friend, God is not slack as others count slackness. Things may not be going as planned and may even be going in the opposite direction but it doesn’t mean that God has forgotten you.
I don’t know what you have been trusting Him for since the year began and have not seen the manifestation not to talk about taking full delivery of them that you have started loosing hope, if you have not already lost hope.
Maybe you have prayed and fasted yet things seems like there is no hope. Well, sometimes God delays our blessings and give them to us not necessarily when we want them but when we really need them so that our testimonies can be resounding.
You see, beloved, some things may delay some times but God is never late. He is always on time.
That situation may be heavy in your heart but be rest assured that God has not forgotten you.
It may not look it at the moment but don’t worry child of God, God is cooking up something that will cause your mouth to open in amazement!
Keep holding on; stay strong because you are next in line for a miracle and your testimony will be ground breaking that men will say of you, “we have not seen it in this fashion.”
