GLORIOUS EXPECTATIONS!

For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. (Proverbs 23:18, KJV)

When humans engage in doing something, especially when we begin a project, we always have the end in view. Take for instance when one starts a new building project, all attention would be on its completion. Or maybe one gains admission into a higher institution, all one’s thought would be centred on the day of graduation, and so on. Because completing a project or the day of graduation is always such that brings joy! Even a pregnant woman. All expectations would be on the day she delivers so she too can nurse her own baby.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says the end of a thing is always better than the beginning.

Take for instances Ezekiel 37, reading from verse one, you will discover that the prophet, with his faith in God was confused when God asked him if the bones could live again, and verse 10 says;

“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.”

I am sure the prophet’s heart would be filled with unspeakable joy when he saw dry bones coming back to life again. But remember, the valley was filled with dry bones and at the end they rose to become an exceeding great army. Meaning their end became better than their beginning.

In the scriptures, we find a lot of people whose beginning seemed insignificant but their end was indeed glorious. See the life of Moses, a man who was raised in the palace and later became a fugitive but eventually became a great tool in God’s hand. See Abraham, Elisha, Joshua, Joseph, Peter, Paul… The list is endless.

The reality of Joseph’s life after the visions he saw did not seem like anything good would come his way, but he held on to it, knowing if God can show him a glimpse of his future, then no circumstance can change it.

What are you going through? For surely there is an end, and that end has come for you today!

I prophesy, every barrier, obstacle or challenge blocking your way, they all become plain today, and thine expectation shall not be cut off in Jesus mighty name!

It is well with you!
