And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (Matthew 6:12, KJV)
As Christians, it is our duty not to only forgive, but to ensue peace reigns at all times.
The Word of God in Hebrews 12:14 says: “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
Very simple and straight forward. We can not claim to be holy without forgiveness, besides, we must be the Peace Brokers.
Put simply, the above prayer says Lord don’t forgive me if I don’t forgive others. Who wouldn’t want God’s forgiveness except him who wants hell as a final abode.
Why not start today by sending an apology SMS, a BBM message, make a call and possibly go to that friend that offended you to say I’m sorry, please forgive. I can assure you, its not foolishness, but the best thing to do.
The Lord gives you the wisdom to make your move!
