FOLLOWING DIVINE DIRECTION

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (John 16:13, KJV)

One day a traveller in a remote country town, convinced that he was on the wrong road, called one of the villagers to the car window and said: “Friend I need help. I am lost.”

The villager looked at him for a moment and asked, do you know where you are?

Yes, the traveller said. I saw the name of your town as I entered.

The man nodded his head and asked: do you know where you are going?

Yes, the traveller replied and mentioned his destination.

The villager looked away for a moment then said, you are not lost. You just need direction.

Many of us are in the same position as the traveller. We know where we are and we know where we are going. All we need is just directions. That is where God comes in; we cannot travel this road without Him because without Him the journey of life would become confusing. So He gave us His Spirit to guide us as we journey through.

Child of God, I pray for you, receive divine guidance, in Jesus Name!

From today, may the Spirit of God direct you in all your ways, in Jesus Name!

Whichever way you have missed it, I pray, may the Lord come through for you, in Jesus Name!

It is a new dawn and a new season for you, in Jesus Precious Name!
