FAITHFUL STEWARDS

… Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Like 18:8, KJV)
The Bible gives us the account of the unprofitable servant in Matthew 25:14-30. Whom while his colleagues were busy being faithful and productive with what was committed to them, he dug the earth, and hid his lord’s money. So it is with most of us today. We have buried what God has deposited in our lives because we do not value them and have gone after mundane, yet expecting to fulfill our purpose.
If God were to look upon the face of the earth, would He find you faithful?
Can you sincerely say that you have been faithful in the things that God has committed to you?
Recently, I found myself grieved in my spirit because I knew I was not faithful in the things God has entrusted me with. From a personal perspective, I had every reason why I could not do them.
I would not allow myself follow the will of God for my life because I thought there was greener pasture on the other side of life; why would I even focus on ministry when I have a family to care for? Or why should I focus on the things above when I can do what others are doing to make money?
But I forgot that “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” (1 Corinthians 15:19)
Today, I want to encourage you to be a good steward over that which God has given you and to be faithful in doing it.
When God gives you something He does so according to your ability. He is not going to give you something and not give you the resources or means to get it done.
For some, God has given you talents, abilities, businesses, ideas, children and so on. But in all, God called us to be faithful stewards!
He has entrusted you with something for a particular reason and purpose that supersedes you. However, similar to the servant with one talent, we hide, bury and sit on the very thing God entrusted us with.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5)
Therefore, examine yourself and ask, “Am I sitting on what God has entrusted me with? Am I faithful to God with what He has given me? Will I multiply that which He has given me to His glory?”
In today’s world, we feed ourselves with lies that we begin to see them as the truth when we know they are not, because we do not want to take responsibility for our actions.
As we begin to take responsibility for that which God has entrusted us with, I pray that His manifold blessings will begin to shine upon us, in Jesus Name.
Prayer Point: Father, help me to be a faithful steward in all that You have committed to me. And help me take responsibility for my assignment, in Jesus Precious Name!
You are blessed!!!
