He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. (Psalms 126:6, KJV)
Life is a battle field, and the promises of God have been made available for all, that is why the bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:7; But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
But the truth remains that these blessings will remain inaccessible to many unless they are ready to do battles. And our battles are fought in the place of prayer.
Why must I fight if God has released His blessings? We must fight because 1 Corinthians 16:9 says;
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Sin altered God’s plan for mankind, and our adversaries; satan and his cohort being responsible for man’s down fall will not allow man possess what rightfully belongs to him without a fight.
Today’s reading says he that goeth forth weeping bearing seeds will doubtless come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves. Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 was a man who had gone weeping because his mother named him “Sorrow”; a disguise the devil was to use to truncate his destiny.
Joseph in Genesis 39 was a young man that saw himself in a highly exalted position but had to go through series of battles before he got to his glorious destination.
Also Jephthah, the son of a harlot, was rejected by his own people and left to die. Hear what he said in Judges 12:3;
And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand…
Life is a battle field, that is why the Lord God Himself taught us to war; Psalms 18:34. But our warfare is in the place of prayer.
Before we can win life’s battle and bring in the sheaves, we must have salvation; a personal relationship with God. And then war in the place of prayer!
So if you are not born again, seize this opportunity to do so.
ACCEPT JESUS NOW so that you can win the battles of life and bring in the sheaves.
