BEWARE OF DESTINY HIJACKERS!

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Matthew 2:2, KJV)

The story was told of a woman who was pregnant and wanted to know the future of her child. After consultation, the witchdoctor told her that the child she’s carrying would be the only child and that the child would be very great, however, due to his busy schedule, he may not always be around.

The woman upon hearing that, said to herself, God forbid, how would my only child not be around me. And then turned to the witchdoctor and said, is there a way we can change it?

He replied and said, the only way out is to make him poor. And she agreed.

Coincidentally, another woman who was also there and had been told her child would be poor asked the witchdoctor if they could exchange the destinies of the children and he said yes. However, she would have to by a gift and candle to give to the other woman whose child’s destiny she needed. And that she would also have to come on a particular day every year to offer peace offering and she agreed.

Fast forward. 35 years later, the first woman’s son had become very wretched and was struggling to get his daily meal, while the other had become so rich, married with children and had businesses scattered abroad.

Not liking the situation of things, the wretched young man began to cry unto the Lord for help and one faithful day, the angel of God appeared to him and told him to buy a very expensive gift for his mother and inside the gift, he should wrap a candle. And the young man set out and began working over time in building sites and doing odd jobs just to raise the money to get the gifts. When he did, he wrapped them and gave them to his mother. Upon opening it, she saw the candle, broke down and started crying. After some time she called the boy and told him everything.

Long story short, she went back to the witchdoctor who also invited the other woman and they restored what they had done and that heralded a new dawn for him.

There are certain people who have the ability to see into people’s future. While some call them star gazers, some call them seers.

While some only have the ability to see into people’s future, some can actually upturn or alter people’s destinies. That is why in this New Year, we must in our best interest, align ourselves with the Lord.

Sad as it is to say, if the star of Jesus Christ could be traced, then it is possible for any man’s star to be traced.

It is also possible that some people’s destinies may have been altered already even though it is the first day of the Year, because while some are anticipating greatness this Year, some evil people may have perceived the great things that God has mapped out for some and have moved against it, and because they do not have a solid relationship with God, the evil plot to counter those blessings may materialize.

The Bible says in Psalms 91:5-6:

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.”

These are destiny wasters!

But thank God for Psalms 91:1. It says:

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

So the security of your destiny is only guaranteed in God.

That’s why if you are not born again, what better day is there to give your life to Christ than today?

I pray for you, in the Name of Jesus Christ, your destiny will not be truncated!

Because your life is hid in Christ, no evil man or woman shall rejoice over you, in Jesus name!

In this New Year, doors that have been shut against you will begin to open up for you, supernaturally, in Jesus Name!

Every seemingly impossible situation around you begins to work for you, in Jesus Name!

This Year, you will fulfill destiny in grand style, in Jesus Precious Name!
