ACTIVATING YOUR INNER ABILITY

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” (Proverbs 23:7, KJV)

There is a scientific theory that claims that we talk to ourselves more than we talk to others and this process is called inner speech.

According to study, 96% of adults say they have an internal dialogue.

Inner speech is the silent expression of conscious thought to oneself in a coherent linguistic form.

It is a form of internalized, self-directed dialogue: talking to oneself and it goes beyond just glossing through your thoughts to a point of very deep reflection.

I have seen physically challenged people do things able bodied people cannot do which is a pointer that abilities are birthed within.

They say there is ability in inability and it is very true.

Some people’s inability to perform is not the result of physical obstacles but the ones they see inside of them and those they allowed into them.

As a matter of fact, the word inability is a word that assures us of what we have buried inside of us because I personally believe that the word means “inner ability”; those untapped capabilities that God has deposited inside of us that when stirred up and our bodies will swing into action.

Inner-ability is seeing the potentials within us through God’s Word, and not the limitations around us.

No wonder Proverbs 29:18 says:

“Where there is no vision, the people perish…”

We must be able to see our God given potentials within us and then act accordingly!

However, our ability to see those potentials depends on how much we tap into God’s Word, without which we’ll be too blind to see.

I pray for you, as you begin to tap into your God given ability, the courage to make your move will be stirred up by the power of Holy Ghost and will birth the strength that you need to achieve greatness in Jesus Precious Name!
