And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply… (Genesis 1:28, KJV)
Reading the above passage, you will see that it is evident that God has a spectacular plan for man when He created us. He did not only create us, He created us and blessed us in all ramifications.
There are 3 key words to be noted from the passage as highlighted above and they are:
1. Blessing: Means the act of approval. And biblically, blessing is depicted as a mark of God’s relationship with a person or nation
2. Fruitful: Means to be in different varieties.
3. Multiply: Means to be fertile or to produce results in several ways.
Going by the 3 definitions above, we can therefore boldly say God marked man to bear fruits in several varieties in several ways. Put simply, when God blesses a man, He blesses him in every facet of his life. God’s blessings are all encompassing!
It will not be out of place to say God’s blessings are colourful, and to be colourful means to be striking in variety and interest.
Let’s assume a basket of fruits, we know it does not only contain fruits, but colourful varieties of fruits.
… he said unto me, Prophesy… Ezekiel 37:4
I prophesy, may this week and the rest of your life be fruitful & colourful in Jesus name!
